John has spent most of his 35 professional years working in tech-related activities, including software development, mainframe computer operations, missile launch operations, data center design, and global Internet network engineering. When Mr. Savageau was a US Air Force Command Control Officer, he discovered his penchant for telecommunications and, in particular, the technology behind it. Today, at the cutting edge of global telecommunications technology, he is personally committed to finding solutions to any customer problem or business challenge, for both his international and US customers. Prior to joining CRG West, Mr. Savageau was CEO of MagicNet in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, where he led Internet infrastructure development and provided data solutions to the rapidly growing mining industry. As a pioneer in technology implementation, Mr. Savageau has also held significant positions at Pihana Pacific, Level (3) International, and Sprint International/Global One, and CRG West/CoreSite where he focused on global network deployment, data center development and operations and international sales. Mr. Savageau is a former career US Air Force officer and has lived for extended periods of time in Japan, China and Mongolia. He graduated with a Master of Science degree in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas and also received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Asian Studies and Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland. |
