Vinay Gokhale serves as the Vice President for SiRF’s Wireless Business Segment where he is responsible for SiRF’s initiatives in the mobile terminals as well as cellular infrastructure areas. Vinay’s 20+ years in the wireless industry and has covered Marketing, Sales, Engineering and Operations management for silicon, embedded software, industrial electronics and server technologies. Over that time period he has been closely involved with products related to GPS, BlueTooth, CDMA, GSM/WCDMA, Cordless telephony and RFID. In addition to SiRF, Vinay’s career also includes working at Impinj, Conexant/Rockwell, the Boston Consulting Group and Vartec Technologies. Vinay holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from U. C. Irvine and an MBA from Stanford University.
