As the Assistant Vice President for IT Enterprise Collaboration for the Lucent Corporate IT organization, Ray oversees CIO-IT partnership initiatives with CIO-IT associations, and customers. Through this role, Lucent shares its’ enterprise IT experience in a broad spectrum of private and public sector groups throughout North America.

Ray has delivered in over 75 briefings including keynote addresses to a total of more than 3000 CIO-IT leaders and peers. Topics discussed include: Cellular Data, Convergence and other Network Centric services for enterprises.

He supports his current IT strategic role from his home in Toronto and reports to the VP for Infrastructure Planning at Lucent corporate headquarters in Murray Hill New Jersey.

Over the last 20 years, Ray has held a number of senior positions with telecom equipment vendors that have involved domestic & international assignments.

Ray has a BASc, MASc and MBA. He is a member of several associations including the Society for Information Management, and the IEEE. He also supports teaching initiatives at the University of Toronto Rotman Business School and advisory groups for the WINMEC Consortium & Anderson Business School at UCLA and the BUILDe Program at Boston University.
